This little teashop has real matcha flavor. I got 30% sweet and it wasn't too sweet! Often other boba places give me a 25% sweet drink that tastes like 100%, so I can't trust them and can't get one anytime I like.
The man working there was very kind and gave me an extra-extra tall matcha because he wanted to wait to make it until I arrived to prevent melt. The smoothie had a super fine ice texture and melted quickly. It reminded me of かき氷, Japanese style shaved ice.
He also gave me a small charger gift as an early customer. I prefer local small businesses and love Taiwan Bubble tea and real matcha. I'll definitely be back!
