• 24-10-26I was not expecting what looks like actual handmade perogies! What a lovely surprise after having those horrible manufactured things at some-other-perogie-place-that's-a-chain-and-who's-name-I-wont-mention-here!!!! Also, all the sides were verrrrry tasty. I added sauerkraut to my meal, which I highly recommend as it offsets the only unfortunate downside to the meal: while the cabbage roll cabbage and the marinated mushrooms inside it were tasty, the buckwheat itself didn't have much flavor and could have been cooked with more spices or onions or something else to bring in more flavor. Overall I'm exceedingly happy with this Vegan Buckwheat and Mushroom Cabbage Roll with Perogy and Coleslaw meal though, and I absolutely will be ordering this again!

• 24-02-09As a native Ukrainian I was disappointed with the quality of food.
1) I did not enjoy your attempt at "vegan" Borsch. Not only is the portion tiny and lacked a basic amount of normal veggies like cabbage or carrot or beets? It did not even have a single potato inside. Not the best representation of Ukrainian traditional food as Borsch is always made with meat/bone broth and different variety of meat added inside -everywhere in Ukraine. I don't understand the lack of effort to make it proper.
The tiny 1 single slice of Garlic Bread I bought on the side for Borsch was not worth the 2$, it's just that - one very small plain thin slice that is slightly rubbed with raw garlic.
2) Meat Cabbage roll was more on a dry side, lacked the sauce- as well as I'd rather have a choice between pure pork or pure beef for the filling as i did not enjoy the taste of the mix of two meats.
3) Varenyky were okay, typical potato cheese filling which was good, caramelized onion on top.
4) Pickled Cabbage (Sauerkraut) on side was okay, a little over-picked and a bit too sour.
There are not many other ukrainian restaurants downtown and it would be nice if our food was represented properly with real Ukrainian hospitality and passion.

• 24-07-31Pork Schnitzel was good but the portion was small and just a tad too salty. Same for the perogies, only 4 of them??! For a $32 meal it just wasn't enough..

• 23-04-12It was okay.
loved the cabbage rolls, and the quality is high-average.
My struggle was with 15 dollars for perogies though. maybe there's some expense I'm not connecting, but for the money spent I was very hungry still once finished. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
