Worst sushi place I've tried, and I have lots of sushi. Portions have gotten so much smaller than before, and orders look nothing like the pictures advertised. Do yourself a favour and order from a different Ichiban, the one in West Village is much better for the same prices.
I ordered the Tuna and Avocado Medium Roll, where the tuna was more grey, smelled off and and tuna had more diced carrot bits than actual tuna! Rolls were also the same size as the mini rolls, so disappointed and tasted gross.
I also had the Salmon Onion Nigiri, where the salmon pieces were incredibly thin, as thin as store bought smoked salmon slices. Also incredibly disappointing.
Finally the Salmon and Avocado Medium Roll, where the salmon was only the fatty edge pieces in very small portions, smelled old and also much greyer than normal salmon sashimi.
This store used to be much better, but now the boxes are more flimsy, chopsticks are smaller and thinner and less condiments are provided. Not worth it.

I don't think the hand rolls are worth the price. The Soft Shell Crab Hand Roll tasted oily but overall the Salmon Mini Roll were delicious and the Salmon hand roll.

Everything was great except I ordered a vegetarian meal which contained a piece of meat. The tofu came in a sweet and sour sauce. In the sweet and sour sauce was a piece of meat. This is pretty unacceptable
