Tom and James Papadakis were born in the Greek town of Kastelli Gravias. Both came to New York in the early 1900s and finally settled in Houston. Tom persuaded his brother James to build their version…
Very good. My onion rings were crispy and the Chicago All-Beef Dog was full of flavor.

I've been enjoying James' dogs for over 60 years and this is the first time in-restaurant of home that I received dogs with burned buns. The weiners were perfect, the chili was divine but both out-sides of the buns were nearly black - weirder still is that somehow it was still delicious.

The Cheese Coneys are good. The dogs are a bit shorter than the buns, but the picture is accurate, so I have no complaints there.
I ordered and paid 50 cents extra for cheese on the LG Tots, and it did not have any. Had the same meal box a few days ago, and they did.
The onion rings taste good and so does the sauce (some of which I used on the cheeseless tots). However you don't get a lot of rings, and several were burnt. Some people like that, I do not, so I had to throw out the burnt ones.

JCI has gone down hill. Their dogs are getting smaller and taste like Vienna sausages. Highly disappointed in this one time go to favorite.

Texas dog & chili fries were great. The chili in the tamales was mostly oil. One used to get 3 tamales per order, now it's only 2.
