• 23-12-31Okay this place is amazing and idk how I didn't discover it sooner! EVERYTHING is cooked perfectly and arrived fresh and hot and delicious. Hash browns are just the right amount of fluffy and crispy, even my brother the big hashbrown critic approved 👍🏼 bacon was crispy and they give you a lot. Definitely never ordering breakfast from a Coney Island again, this place knows what they are doing !!

• 25-08-24Worth every dollar spent. My order was fresh great size portion. I'd order from here again and again. I ordered the apple cinnamon pancakes. Perfect for anyone that want something hot and sweet without all the sugar from syrup. The syrup is not needed. The pancakes are pretty big golden brown not burnt.

• 26-02-23I recently ordered from Johnny Cakes Cafe through DoorDash and was very disappointed. The corned beef hash Benedict was a letdown — the eggs were cooked past the point of no return, the corned beef was overcooked, and the potatoes were mushy. The skillet potatoes were also completely flavorless.
To make matters worse, the Benedict didn’t even come with hollandaise sauce. Instead, it was served with some kind of gravy that was not good at all and completely changed the dish.
When I called, the staff acknowledged that the eggs likely continued cooking in the container during delivery. If that’s the case, the eggs should have been packaged separately, especially knowing it was a delivery order. Their only solution was to remake the eggs, which wasn’t helpful since I ordered delivery because I don’t have a car — something I explained to them.
Overall, very disappointing experience in both food quality and customer service.

• 25-05-24Everything is always top notch! The best thing, unlike other restaurants, they allow you to customize your order your way. Very good portion sizes. Highly recommend!

• 26-06-27The Create Your Own Skillet was pretty good, the eggs on top was different, but good. For some reason I thought they would be on the side. The Fruity Pebbles french toast was good, but didn't taste like French toast at all. More like Texas toast with cream cheese and cereal on top. TheRed Velvet Pancakes were deliciously thick and fluffy. One thing I would change is only cream cheese on the top. should have a little in between the pancakes. Overall the food was good and I really liked the wheat whole grain toast. Would try this place again.
