Based on the packaging you can tell this didn't come from the actual Krispy Kreme store. This definitely is the pre-packaged donuts from a gas station, grocery store, etc. they tasted stale and old,

These were dry and stale. I ordered early in hopes of fresh doughnuts. These tasted like they had been sitting on a shelf for days. Waste of money!!

these donuts come Harris Teeter! nasty. if they come with a clear part on the top of the box then they didnt come fresh from the Krispy Kreme store. Krispy Kreme's brick and mortar store boxes serve their donuts in 100% non see-through box!
