Kumagoro Sushi in downtown Anchorage was a great choice for dinner for my family! We ordered appetizers (baby octopus and ikura rice ball) 2x Shoyu Ramen (highly recommended!), Las Vegas roll (deep fried and my daughter's favorite), AK Samurai roll, and the spicy Heart Attack roll (deep fried), and dessert (deep fried oreos and chocolate Haagen Daz ice cream). Everything was delicious and was exactly what we were craving. I'll order from here again! 💯💯💯

i got the chicken curry. My co worker and myself usually order from this business for their curry. However when i received the order- i opened my container which had the curry. half of the container was filled. i dug into the dish and it was mostly peas, 2 onion slices and chicken scraps. this was not filling at all. i was overcharged for chicken scraps.

Prime beef skewers were very disappointing as there were two sticks with three bite-sized pieces of meat in each. So, $2.33 per bite. On the other hand, the King Salmon Teriyaki was a good portion, well prepared and tasty.

my co worker and myself used to buy from this place every other week as a treat. However, their portions have gone way down and their prices went way up. i paid 17.00 for a scoop and a half of curry and peas with a little bit of chicken bits. sad to say i cant justify overpriced food for such stingy portions.

I'd place my order in around noon for a 5:30PM pickup. My Combination Curry was not present at pickup. Didn't realize it until it was far too late. The Miso Chashumen ramen and Miso Soup was delicious. The ramen was pretty large and came with 2 cups of noodles. Filled me wonderfully for dinner. Wasn't too spicy, loved the extra eggs and the broth was the best part to end with. Just wished I had my complete order. The lack of nearby parking and rush hour was disappointing for pickup. Didn't have quarters, so I spent $3.00+ for an hour parking I didnt need. That is, until I realized my missing item and lost my parking spot when I tried to circle back. I was already tired from work and did not want to keep driving around or walk far in the cold to go back. I'd recommend anyone reading my review to seriously lean to dining in here. The food was great but most definitely check before walking out for any pickup orders.
