I ordered from the nearby Doubletree. I was concerned when the delivery arrived within minutes. The two rolls, Salmon and avocado and spicey tuna and cucumber rolls were very fresh. As pictured, 6 pieces of each. They chose to combine the order to a single container. Saving on waste. The seaweed salad had a nice tangy flavor. I look forward to my next order.

Always amazingly seasoned sushi rice and fresh fish with a great selection and very fresh fish! This is for the Silver Spring and Arlington location. Had a poor experience at the North Bethesda location with undercooked cold rice. The North Bethesda chef should go in an intership in Arlington and Silver Spring.

Kusshi Silver Spring and Arlington is exceptional sushi. Almost top Japan level. People think sushi is about the fish freshness but it is about 3 main elements. 60% the rice's taste (the right texture/shine/sug ar/salt/vinegar/kombu/and sometimes sake's proportion), 20% the fish and 20% the right rice to fish proportion. Kuushi nails it all at an affordable price. There are other $$$$$ 5 star sushi places in DC but none at this price point. When people comment solely on the fish on their comments, they do not know the true complexity of sushi making. Order now! Kusshi North Bethesda was disappointing, the rice was bland and undercooked.

Very small sushi and nigiri size, as well as seaweed salad, for a very high price, while taste isn't really anything special to justify how expensive it is. The Miso soup was overly salty, the Kusshi Noodles appeared as if they were made earlier and later heated up (did not taste very fresh).

The Ovi was super delicious- very rich and filling. Balanced it out with the Yellowtail and Scallion (6pc). I also branched out and got the Chicken Katsu Don. Flavor was great and good portion size! Everything seemed to be good quality. Would get the same order again.
