Food is delicious. One of the best chicken katsus I've had. White fish was ok. The spam and chicken katsu masubis were also great. Only complaint is that the plates seem a bit pricey. 18.99 per plate seems quite high in comparison to similar restaurants.

It's been a while since I've ordered Kalua Pig from L&L. Still has the same great flavor, but my order seemed especially greasy this time around. Either that, or I've never noticed the oil? Maybe it's because I ordered towards the end of the day and they gave me whatever was left? I thought the pork was served over a bed of shredded cabbage, not white rice, but I did appreciate the "drier" part of the rice because I used it to soak up some of the oil. I'm sure cabbage would've helped a little more with that on the "back end" later on. Good on L&L for serving such a generous portion because I'm gonna have to split this up into several meals with some veggies to help alleviate the greasy feeling. Probably gonna go back to my usual order of Lau Lau for next time.

I lovr L&L but come on man. $19 for a plate? In vegas it's only $11. $17 for spam and eggs? $9 in vegas. At least make the prices more reasonable. The food is great though.

L&L used to be good. Shrimp and whitefish was over breaded and over cooked; hard as rocks. Rice was clumpy and mushy. Even worse, the macaroni was already spoiled. Taste, color and smell was off. Nothing was fresh. Either the one who prepares the food doesn't know how to, or the quality went down hill.

Out of my big group I noticed that people who loved Ono Hawaiian weren't fans of L&L style of cooking, but I personally love L&L more because of their homestyle cooking. The food here is definitely more Hawaiian taste.
