• 22-12-01The chicken part of the Fish and Chicken Platter was very tasty & tender, and the hush puppies were very moist. They both filled me up so much. I did not have room for the fish but that will be tomorrow's meal and I'm sure it will be just as good as it always is.

• 26-02-20Chicken and fish was crispy the fries not so much and they forgot tartar sauce so i had to use ketchup instead it was a good amount of food for the buck would get again only if they give me tartar sauce tho.

• 23-03-08I usually start a LJS order thinking I'll branch out with different menu offerings. But... I ALWAYS get the grilled salmon & grilled shrimp platter on rice with extra rice & either green beans or hush puppies sides.
This order I also included a 15 pc grilled shrimp individual serving & it was sublime.
I have definitely found a fantastic stand in for the grilled salmon I usually looked forward to ordering at Ruby Tuesday or Red Lobster, both no longer available in Roanoke.
Both orders from LJS were absolutely 5 star restaurant quality! It was a great decision! Of course, my daddy ate his dinner with lotsa lip smacking so our kitchen was happy.

• 25-11-24Chicken was fresh and delicious. Fish was refried shriveled up and old. Mac n cheese had crumbles. I ordered without. Hushpuppies hard. Slaw delicious. For the price, not worth it. Too expensive now days to receive old food.

• 25-08-31it was really good for once. the shrimp was soft and the fish was good. the sides were filled up. I still miss the corn on the cob. if they make it like this againi would order again
