I did my version of a Choose 3 Combination pretty much. Liked the food here better than La Rancherita so probably going to try them again and tacos next time. Cheese Enchilada was solid.

Mamacita's Chicken Soup is so craveable. It's literally a whole lunch portion. I could (and have) just drink the broth it's so good. The veggies taste fresh and perfectly cooked. My only critique is that the chicken tastes a bit overcooked, not bad, but not perfect. I would be happy to make this a weekly treat.

The Birria Tacos were bland and the meat inside them wasn't shredded or falling apart, so I was biting into one big chunk. The tortillas were also soggy and one wasn't even fully dipped and was partially white. They served them with about a tablespoon of cilantro and a bunch of pickled red onion, which I did not like. The "consummé" was just beef broth with some cilantro sprinkled on top. The Tres Leches was dry, and the Dulce de Leche was like a cold and grainy cake that was extremely dense with mush in the middle. I genuinely couldn't even tell what it was supposed to be. I would not order from here again and I would not recommend it.

Liked the birria tacos, the fajita nachos had wayy too many toppings in my opinion. The burrito was massive.

The Lunch Chimichanga with Chicken was AMAZING!! Hot and flavorful on the inside, and crispy on the outside. However, the sweet plantains were ruined with sweetened condensed milk or some kind of cream poured on top. It was not a delicious combination and made them overly sweet and not in a good way. The taste of the cream with the plantains clashed horribly . Also I limit dairy intake and this wasn’t in the menu description. The edges of the plantains without the cream were fantastic! It’s an unnecessary addition.
