This was so yummy! I ordered the Saag Aloo and the mild spice level was just right. They chives on the Naan really complimented the Saag.
Also had Kheer... which was the best I have ever had. The food tasted fresh, was well packaged, and has been my favorite food since coming in Oakland.
Even convinced my husband that he DOES like Indian food.

Marigold makes the absolute best aloo gobi (spicy) in the Oakland/Berkeley area. I have ordered it twice this week! As the spicy is pretty spicy, I usually get it with something creamy like the chicken tikka masala or madras curry-both also excellent.

Excellent Indian food. Madras curry with shrimp and the Tandoori grill stole the show. Naan was also quite good (a bit of a rarity in the Bay). Mild is a little spicy, Medium packs good heat but even our kids liked the Tandoori so much they powered past the spice

it wasn't bad, just unimpressive. The mint chutney for the Vegetable Samosa tasted a bit sour. I ordered the Saag tofu at medium spicy, but the dish seemed to lack enough seasoning for the spice to actually be able to enhance. I feel guilty about being honest, but this just didn't hit

Moved to Oakland from Fremont and could not find Indian food that was on par with what I had in Fremont until this spot!
Ordered saag and chana masala -- it was very well done and the spice level was just right! Will have this as my go-to spot indeed!
