Good food, the buns were toasted, the fries were crispy, and the staff were very friendly. It can be a bit pricey but it seems the food and atmosphere make up for it.

The fish pieces on the Ale-Battered Fish & Chips - 2 Pieces were tiny and the Bacon Cheeseburger had a nickel-sized spot of mayo on it, but the worst insult was a palm-sized square quarter of an inch thick piece of Ruby's Raspberry Cheesecake - Whole with no berries on it, just sauce. Everything tasted okay except the dry burger, but definitely not worth the price.

For the first time in my life, I was rather disappointed McMenamins. The fish and chips (tater tots in this case) were overly salty and for the price ($22), I expected more than two small portions of fish. Several restaurants in the area offer a better deal. I understand that the cheeseburger was excellent, though the fries were described as 'tough and cold.' Overall, it wasn't a terrible meal -- just not the high quality I'd come to associate with McMenamins.

Pretty slow on prep time tbh. Tots were heavily overseasoned and both pieces of fish were small for the price.

McMenamins raised their prices greatly after Covid, but I can definetly say the quality didn't rise with it at this location.
I was very disappointed with the burger patties and Harvest Moon Salad. The salad was $15 dollars, and was the same size as my side salad that came with my burger, which was a bit disappointing. As for the burgers, it reminded me of why I don't order a regular patty, and instead the hammerhead garden patty, because they are quite overcooked. My boyfriend called it a 'meatpuck' due to the toughness. He did enjoy the Backyard burger more after tasting the Cheeseburger, because all the additives helped mask the toughness/dryness.
