every time I get the Vegan Banh Mi , I'm amazed how delicious it is. yummy, and a great value. and the Plant-Based Oat Hemp Date Cookie . . . holy moley. so good!

• 25-08-09The chicken caprese sandwich is really good with balanced flavors and texture. The meat, cheese, peppers, and greens arrived fresh with a good portion. My only complaint was that the sandwich would be that it was cold (it's a panini), but it is understandable. I order it pretty frequently.

• 26-04-13I ordered a Large Basil Pesto Shells and got it in 2 medium boxes (not fully filled). But the price of a medium Basil Pesto Shells is less than half the price of a large Basil Pesto Shells so i felt a little cheated. Salad was good as usual. I wish they provided the option of pre-tossing/mixing the salad. It's always really awkward doing it myself and they have to send the toppings and dressings in a bunch of extra plastic containers.

• 25-08-03The chicken/farro soup is a favorite of mine, but I only like to get it if I can pair it with something vegetarian. The "Happy Hippie" fits the bill. My first time to try it: a well-thought-out mix of flavors and textures (I skipped the carrots). The avocado was fairly generous, and at the right level of ripeness. (Not a big fan of dill, I'd probably cut back on the dressing next time.) The flavorful lightly-toasted honey-wheat bread was an excellent match, and, most important, it held the sandwich together. One doesn't have to be a hippie to be happy.

• 26-04-14We've stopped ordering sides(potato salad&more) from Mendo because they quite literally charge $4.50 for less than 2oz, not more than 3 bites. However, now pictured here is the side of sauce THATCOMESWITH the $18 sandwich. Continuously disappointed.
