Cal afel (6) is a bit crunchier than expected but it is delicious m! The chicken is tasteful with minimal oil. Super happy with my lunch today!

Everytime we are at Rusty Sun Audio recording studio, me and my bandmates eat at Mezza which is around the corner. The chicken, beef, and gyro shawarmas are insane and I crave them heavily inbetween recording sessions. Not to mention an order of fries was portioned enough to be split between my whole band. Mezza is fire.

This place was disappointing. The hummus was thick and pasty, tasted like chickpea and lemon with no hint of tahini. The falafel had a great crunch on the outside but were almost raw on the inside. The chicken shawarma wrap was small with no sauce and as mentioned on the menu, the chicken was "grilled" so not shaved. I ordered 2 sides of garlic sauce, paid 1.29 for a 2oz container that was only half full. Best thing were the hand cut fries. Would not recommend.

Beef Shawarma was dry and bland. Gyro Sandwich was decent, but small. Tzatziki sauce was really runny and tasted funky.
The only redeeming qualities of the meal were the falafel and hummus. The falafel was nice and crispy, and the hummus was flavorful .

Love the Chicken Tawook and hummus is great. Chicken and steak kabobs and were a little dry. Baba Ghanouj needs some work- really watery. But overall this place is great. The pita bread is great too!
