Mmmm... the Loaded BBQ Tater was fire. It was large enough to share. The Pulled Pork Sandwich - Bama Style Meal - medium sized sandwich with great sides.

I've had good bbq from here before but this last order of the Ribs Platter, Large (6) and Half Smoked Chicken was some of the worst food I've ever tasted. Not sure if they changed their cook or process or maybe I was just unlucky but the ribs were not even edible. Looked like they were about a week old and had been reheated by over boiling them in water. They were dry and mushy. You could literally squish the meat between your fingers. The chicken was ok but also tasted weird and like it was just leftover from earlier in the week. Spent $50 on this meal ans the only thing even remotely good was the 1 Piece of Cornbread.

The good: order was ready very quickly. Cole slaw is an excellent vinegar based slaw with still a sweetness to the flavor and crispness to the texture. Baked beans are good, mildly spicy and good sweetness.
Not exactly what I was hoping: the pulled pork seemed just slightly overcooked to me. I think there's a fine line between cooked to a fall-apart tenderness and meat becoming so cooked that it disintegrates in your mouth within 2-3 bites. The mac and cheese was on the dryer side, but surprised me with good flavor. The slice of cornbread was also a surprise: dense and sweet, but griddled (which gave it a very good depth of flavor and texture).
Overall, good meal worth the price and I would go back again! I think I would try other items on the menu to check them out and see how I like them. I would also say that I don't feel beholden to Moe's BBQ as though it was the best BBQ in Mobile; I haven't found that place yet.

The staff are always so helpful whenever I call! The food is delicious and they always get my order quick and correct! My favorite bbq in Mobile!!!
