• 24-05-12I have visited Monte De Rey countless times, but it's my first time ordering from Door Dash and it was awesome! I can't believe that I've never ordered ACP (Arroz con Pollo) ever before. It was cheesy chicken awesomeness with rice. El ACP con arroz está bien sabroso! The flan (Mexican Custard Pudding) is sooo delicious and the Jamaica drink (pronounced Ha-MY-kah) was fabulous as always and in an xtra large cup! Great job! Muy buen trabajo!

• 25-11-16I had a coworker recommend the Chicken Soup because I've been sick for a few days. I'm blown away. 10/10 stars, I don't think I've ever left a DoorDash review before but had to for this one. Taste is phenomenal, it's so fresh, and they give you enough for several portions. Highly recommend!

• 24-01-27Taquitos were tasty and generous on portion. Chile Relleno was weird and didn't see a Chile. Did not eat. Rogue paper w/ UPC code was at the bottom of Hard Chicken Taco. Quesabirria was delicious. Ok but prefer my de Rey on Country Club.

• 25-11-03Will never order here again. Ordered here once before and it was great that time. I don't know if you got new staff that don't care or have just given up on standards, but this was beyond awful. My Chicken Burrito California was Steak instead. The chicken in the Mole Poblano was inedible. Took one bite and gagged. The chicken in it tasted rancid. And the mole sauce was off and weird. Also, the dish comes with tortillas so we expected pieces of chicken, not chicken legs on the bone. The Chile Relleno was also gross. It looked unappealing and smelled like dirty dishwater. The texture of the "ground beef" in it felt like sand. Disgusting. And you really need to invest in to go dishes with snap tight lids. My Flan came in a regular styrofoam container and all of the caramel sauce came out and got all over everything leaving my flan dry - the caramel sauce makes the flan and mine has none. My Chicken Soup was served in a to go cup and I wanted to take it to work tomorrow for my lunch, but I don't think it will travel well considering the lid has a straw hole. My Cheese Dip also came in a to go cup. I've never been served cheese dip this way. Usually it comes in a to go bowl with a snap tight lid so we can all dip our chips in it - once the dip gets low it's hard to dip your hand with a chip all the way in a cup with cheese on the walls of the cup. I spent about $100 and my family's dinner was mostly inedible, served weird, not good, and covered in caramel.

• 24-04-06Monte de Rey almost always delivers on great food with reasonable pricing. Only issue with this order was the salsa. Only gave me about 1/3-1/2 of a little container full. Not nearly enough to go around and salsa is one of the best parts!
