P1.Century Egg & Pork Congee-皮旦瘦肉粥 was absolutely delicious! The rice was perfectly broken down into a smooth, silky texture — just like authentic Cantonese-style congee. I added two extra portions of century egg, and they were super generous with the amount. There was also plenty of tender pork. This is hands down one of the best congees I’ve had — comforting, flavorful, and truly authentic.

Century egg & pork congee, choy sum with oyster sauce and tofu sald. Def the best congee in Edison. Better than any Cantonese dimsum house in this area. Choy sum dish was fresh and light, casual home cooking style. The only disappointment is the tofu salad. Not really the kind of silken tofu / soondubu tofu I expected. But I would reorder the congee and choy sum. Always a big fan of their congee!

I had a fever today, and with the cold, rainy weather, I really needed some comfort food. I ordered my favorite — P1.Century Egg & Pork Congee-皮旦瘦肉粥— and added two extra eggs to hit the free delivery minimum. This is hands down the best Cantonese-style congee in Edison. It’s even better than what I’ve had at dim sum restaurants. Warm, flavorful, and so soothing — exactly what I needed today.

The soup had good flavor, but the portion was heavy on noodles and very light on meat. The duck pieces were mostly bone, which was disappointing. I used to get this same soup from Noodle Go Go in Piscataway, and they provided a much more generous serving of duck — not just bones.
It feels like the quality and portions are better when you dine in versus ordering through DoorDash. I'd love to see more consistency and improvement in the delivery portions.
