I used quite a while ago to order from another location of Papa John's and used to order the pizza named the Works. The pizza had a taste of pizza, the crust had the taste of pizza crust. The toppings were varied and sufficient. This time the crust was a mushy thing with a taste of sandwich bread, The topping was made with of a few things, here there was s a strand of bell pepper, here a thin slice of pepperoni, plenty of mushroom drenched in a lot of bland tomato sauce covered by melted cheese. This is definitely not a description of a pizza.

Our food was terrific as usual. We were out of town and Papa John's pizza was 1/2 the cost of all the other close places. So we decided to stay with what we know is good.

I ordered a 12-slice pizza, and an eight-slice pizza came, and it wasn't the same as the one I'd already eaten at the place
