• 24-08-19Food is good. The closest thing you can get to real Peruvian in my area. Peruvian is traditionally an expensive meal. This is definitely true here. Portions are standardly a good size. Having said that, don't buy anything revolving around a sauce. A cup of Salsa Verde is $5, and I'd imagine it's .75oz (see photo). It's the same story with their Yucca Huancaina (sauce cup is likely 1.5-2.5oz). I would argue it isn't enough to actually use all the Yucca. What exacerbates the pricing problem for me is the sauces they're charging astronomical prices for don't even require rare or hard to find ingredients. The Huancaina can be made with ingredients available at most local Publix and the Salsa Verde uses a small amount of huacatay (available on Amazon very cheaply) and nothing else not locally available. If the item contained costly or hard to obtain ingredients (locally), I would understand and support the high prices. Good food, expensive. Do yourself a favor. Skip the sauces

• 23-11-29The Aeropuerto was delish. However, I need to be honest- these were the worst wontons I've had. It felt like a very hard chip with something barely, in the middle. Too dry and hard. I ended up throwing it out. I'll try other things from there but definitely not the wontons which were not exactly cheap at $12.

• 25-08-16This delicious Picada could have fed an entire army. I didn't weigh it, but this has to weigh around five pounds. That's a lot of meat and potatoes! Outstanding!

• 26-04-24We’ve ordered from Pisco Express several times, usually in the evenings, and it’s always been a go-to for us. However, something seems to have changed recently.
The eggs in the chufa were overcooked, and the steak was unfortunately tough and rubbery. The seasoning and overall flavor profile also seemed different—and not for the better. The empanadas, which we used to enjoy, have changed as well and now taste more like an Indian samosa.
Hoping this was just an off night, because we’ve had much better experiences before.
