The seasoning on the meat in the Burrito San Jose was excellent, and I enjoyed the cheese sauce and toppings. The Burrito Pastor had a nice ratio of fillings and was really tasty, had exactly the pastor flavor I hoped for. I didn't realize it had beans and rice on the side, so I ordered Side Refried Beans to go with it.
Portions were huge and each burrito is easily 2-2.5 meals, maybe 3 if eating it with an additional side. Highly recommend.

The vegetarian Veggie Fajitas are very inconsistent. Sometimes they have a lot of vegetable variety but tonight it was terrible- just corn and peppers- 1 carrot and 1 cauliflower (literally). The rice was white rice and not what you'd expect in a Mexican dish. I wish I could get the same dish with every order but I never do and won't order again.

We absolutely love Plaza Azteca, we go to the restaurant in West Fargo, and the two in Sioux Falls frequently. Great food, passionate service...just top notch. We ordered three meals, including the Texas Fajitas, tonight...unfortunately, no tortillas were included in our order. Luckily, we had some. Everything else, was perfect.

Enchiladas El Jefe (3) are mild but flavorful. Love the creamy corn sauce. Quesabirria is salty and savory and has lots of cilantro. Yum!

I genuinely wanted to love it bc I have heard great things and its close, but was disappointed. I ordered 2 Burrito Fajitas (steak) which were OK. They had a hint of Birria flavor and the meat was tender, but was left disappointed in the lack of steak and no peppers. I thought fajitas meant peppers. I only got steak and onions. Also, it was a bit greasy. You could see the amount of grease swirling in the cheese sauce they pour over it. The chicken street taco was so awful I spit it out. It tasted and smelt like wet dog. Which I googled is a common thing for corn tortillas to smell like maybe? idk. It was pungent. It has fresh tomatoes and avocado on it, but man, was absolutely not good. The chicken was dry and bland as well. The chips were too thick and the cheese dip was average at best. I am sorry, I heard great things about this place. Maybe I just ordered the wrong things. I didnt realize we would get a side of salsa, white salsa, and chips for free so that was nice.
