My father, Clyde W. Pollard, founded Pollard's Chicken in February of 1967.

Best Meals in Town!!!!! 3 Piece Chicken with 2 Vegetables & Puffs Dinner was on point!!! So delicious !!!! Dark meat with collard greens, potato salad, and some Cole slaw. One of my favorite Go To's for Lunch or even Dinner. Dont sleep on this spot peeps!! Grab you a meal and some dessert. This place will not disappoint.

Got the 3pc Chicken with mac and cheese and mashed potatoes. Mac and cheese has no flavor. I've had a stouffers mac taste better than this. Normal instant mashed potatoes (at least they taste like it). The chicken was okay but little crunch. Definitely need the hot sauce to eat it. Their puffs genuinely just taste like frying oil. Never gonna get this again, especially for the price.

I order this Liver/Gizzard Snack enough to know bad quality. Normally this meal comes with gizzards and livers on a bed of rice covered with gravy. This meal had no flavor. Rice tasted like the water it was cooked in/ it was over cooked. Just a very awful meal/waste of money.

There was NO COLE SLAW on my BBQ sandwich and the BBQ was dripping of vinegar My order was not true to Pollard's standard. The order was for 3 sweet potatoes, instead of 3 l received one large sweet potato. I wish all locations for Pollard’s Chicken were compatible with the London Bridge location in Virginia Beach. Ordered 8 piece family meal. I was so lookingforward to the wonderful fried chicken Pollards USED TO PUT OUT. What a disappointment! The chicken was flavorless, as were the instant mash potatos and gravy. My food driven dog wouldn't eat them! What a waste of $60!
