The Italian Beef is always a favorite with our out of town guests. All the food is always fresh and hot. A great taste of Chicago!

Fries were loaded with salt. Had to throw them away. Inedible. Hot dog had way too much mustard. Malt was good.

Portillo's was closed Sunday night, so I thought I was getting a Chicago style dog from another vendor.
their hot dog was soggy & not Chicago style. and the fries I got were limp & greasy.
THERE IS NO SUBSTITUTE FOR PORTILLO'S.
I work in a hotel & deal with people from all over the country & the world. When they ask where they should go or what to order....PORTILLO'S.
But I warn them in advance.....if you ask for ketchup on your hotdog.....they will take you out back & beat you to death. 🤣🤣🤣👍

It's like they started to add ketchup, caught their mistake and stopped but never swapped out to make certain it was plain.

the Chopped Salad had old lettuce in it and tasted old. I asked for ranch dressing and got the house dressing. the Italian Beef Sandwich was just beef and bread. disappointed with the food.
