I come from Texas, where CFS is a sacrament. I have sampled Chicken Fried Steak from any restaurant that offers it.
I ordered the Chicken Fried Steak Breakfast Style today, and was really impressed. So like the ones mom made.
The Chef knows their stuff. Eggs exactly as ordered. Hash browns (a little less crispy, but that's a delivery issue) were tasty and served as a bed for a lovely crispy breaded cutlet..This was no frozen cube steak. This was a real piece of beef, gently tenderized, well seasoned and battered and fried.
The gravy was in separate containers, and was silky and delicious.
The biscuits were so good...crispy outside and fluffy inside. A little small, but very rich.
This meal traveled as well as might be expected, but enjoying such a breakfast would benefit from in restaurant dining.

Every bite is delicious, and the steak is cooked perfectly. I am enjoying the seasoning and the tenderness of the beef. TheSirloin Steak mashed potatoes are creamy and excellent as delivered! The carrots and spinach are the best vegetable accompaniment I've had with this selection (ordered twice before).

Absolutely Amazing! Club Sandwich was huge! Love the slinny fries!! The ranch is so good! The Crab & Artichoke Dip had lots of chunks of artichoke and crab... clam Bowl Chowder also delish! Green House Salad was fresh as well! We will def order again! Very pleased!

The Cup Chowder is salty and had an unappealing taste/texture I have never experienced in a clam chowder. Got a couple bites with Bay Leaves - take them out folks.
The 1 Biscuit w/ Gravy X2 were okay: the gravy was salty and really didn't have a sausage flavor like I was expecting. There was not enough gravy given the menu states "smothered in homemade sausage gravy"... NOT. Oh, the gravy comes in an itty-bitty baby cup, and you scrape it onto the biscuit. The biscuits are good (the only good thing about my order), and I would buy the biscuits again just by themselves.
The Root Beer Float was more like root beer flavored milk. By the time it got to me the ice cream was completely melted... and I only live three blocks from the restaurant, AND the driver was here in two minutes... SO that tells me the restaurant made the root beer float and let it sit there melting. When my dasher arrived at the restaurant, he had to wait for the order... not a complicated order.
My subtotal for just food was $26.00, not worth it based on what I received. Probably won't return.

My go to for great comfort food. The meatloaf & chicken fried steak are excellent, the gravies & veggies they come with are just as great. Consistent, quality, delicious food.
