This is my new number one Doordash destination. The taste of both the Shalimar Special Biryani and Garlic Nan is sensational. I got extra spicy and it's actually the perfect amount of spiciness. I will be ordering again and again. 10/10 recommend.

I've ordered from here multiple times and they don't disappoint! Amazing quality and flavor and the servings can last you a few meals! The sides it comes with like the pickle is very tasty!! Will 100% be ordering again

Everything was awesome and made with great quality ingredients, especially the fresh garlic on the naan and even the papadam was super tasty and the chutney delightful! Rice perfectly textured and flavored. Seriously, it was all so great! (although the Saag Paneer was a little lacking in flavor, but that's it.)
My only complain is the confusion around what comes with a meal. The meal came with rice but I couldn't find that info anywhere. I'm glad it came with rice but not knowing it came with rice, I ordered "more" rice. Just like I didn't know the veggie samosas came with tamarind chutney so I ordered tamarind chutney. Again, I'm glad it came with because the last place I ordered samosas they didn't even have tamarind chutney. So anyway, I ordered some and didn't need to.
There was some kind of soup in my order. Maybe it was a free gift, I'm not sure. Maybe it's a sauce that's supposed to go something, I'm not sure. I haven't tried it yet but I have no doubt it's great.
I highly recommend the potato appetizers that are filled with something, maybe chickpeas? They are awesome. That's was new for me.
I would totally order from this place again!

Tikka Masala: FIRE. Mixed grill: FIRE. Tea: FIRE. Samosa: FIRE. Mulligatawny: FIRE. Kheer: FIRE. Absolutely awesome meal. Even the naan was way better than average, as was the rice. Generous portions. Worth every penny.

Do yourself a favor and mix up your orders from Shalimar India! Every dish I've tried has been incredible. I tried the Rogni Nan for the first time and it was just as lovely a treat as the Paneer Naan. Vegetarian dishes like Aloo Mutter are great here, but so are the lamb dishes!
