Both Shanghai Time Special Panfried Pork Soup Dumplings 4Pcs 上海食代特色生煎包 4Pcs and Shanghai Pork Potstickers 6 Pcs 上海鲜肉锅贴6Pcs are very autheticated, one of the very few in New York. I grew up eating these two types of food in Shanghai. The ones sold here are in line with the good ones what you can get back in Shanghai.

For those who are wondering, the "House Special Meat Sauce Over Rice 卤肉饭 " is a tender braised, fatty pork belly, cut into small cubes/strips, served with rice, steamed cabbage, and pickled veggies.
The pork is very fatty, but pairs great with the pickled veggies!
Shanghai Time Special Panfried Pork Soup Dumplings 4Pcs 上海食代特色生煎包 4Pcs are top tier. Some of the best you'll find in NYC. Almost as good as the famous "Xiao Yang Shen Jian" brand in mainland China.

Very good! I love the panfried pork soup House Special Panfried Pork Soup Dumplings 4pcs 上海生煎汤包 4pcs ! Definitely was very soupy and live up to the hype of sheng jian bao which was I was going after. The Stir Fried Shanghainese Shrimps Udon 虾粗炒面 was good too, thick noodles. This is definitely very good Shanghainess flavor, would recommend.

Love love Love this place but the quantities listed on menu do not match what comes in the actual order: soup dumplings are 4 pieces per order, not 5 as listed or pictured. Mini Wonton soup comes with about 8 wontons, not 15. Have sent private reviews to let the restaurant know but I guess they missed them. Still delicious so only deducting one star

ImS hanghainese and i ordered this for chinese new year celebration and I am greatly disappointed.
The Old Fashioned Smoked Fish 老上海熏鱼 flavor is fine, but
theres simply too much bones and meat quality not the best despite the price.
The Shanghainese Rice Cake With Pork 肉丝炒年糕 had no flavor. Coloring is nice. But no flavor. The only flavor they had was a taint smell of stinky greasy pork. It's honestly shocking how this simple of a dish can be cooked to this point.
Im beyond shocked that this was greatly recommended. This is not where you would get authentic Shanghai food.
