It's becoming more difficult to find a restaurant, muchless a burger establishments  that still offer chili burgers.  Most definitely a favorite meal from my teenage years. 
The housemade chili from this restaurant is   incredible.  It completely pulled everything together too make the chiliburger so delicious.  
I dont eat a lot, but after reviewing pics of the restaurants appetizers, I decided to order french fries.  The serving is so large I'll have more than enough for my lunch tomorrow.   
I probably should have mentioned I frequented Skyline Restaurant often as a teenager many decades ago.  Ive been looking forward to returning here for several years.

I ordered a bacon cheeseburger with tater tots. The tater tots were cooked perfectly and seasoned well. The burger was a big disappointment though. They use the cheapest buns they can find with a tiny piece of beef and three of the saddest pieces of bacon I've ever seen. I will never order from them again.

Food was not very good. Got a crispy chicken burger and it lacked flavor. The bun was way larger than the premade chicken breast patty. Reminded me of eating lunch in middle school, and not in a good way. The fries were pretty meh - thin and unsalted. Overall it didn't deliver, especially for the price.

Exactly what youd hope for when ordering a Chili Cheese Dog. Well seared dog, tasty chili and onions, cheese, toasted bun. Nice touch that chili was on side. Loved my Classic Shakes. Nice that it was drinkable and not thick as concrete mix. Coming back!!

skyline is the best burger place! we ordered 2 hamburgers, and coleslaw and potato salad, but I am lactose intolerant and they replaced the coleslaw with another order of potato salad (which is so creamy and tasty)  and included a note letting us know which i really appreciated! the burgers we ordered did have cheese on them and they replaced them SO fast! the burgers are huge and hot and delicious and fantastic! I recommend anything on their menu. the gravy for the fries is also especially delicious.
