How does a "BBQ joint" have better soul food than most of the soul food spots in town?!? The smoked oxtails over cajun rice were AMAZING!! Greens and Mac & Cheese were some of the best I've ever had...and I'm super finicky! LOL

Coming from someone from northern Wisconsin who doesn't get much BBQ, this hit the spot. Most tender ribs I've ever had, spicy sausage was great, Mac n cheese was almost as good as grandma's, and the beans were bussin. Brisket was dry enough to mention. I was pretty hungry and could only eat like 85% of this before I hit a wall, ordered extra sauce and used 1.5/3 containers (idk how much normally comes with). Very satisfied!

I'm new to Houston and I've been looking for a good BBQ place and I found it!! Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were great for the price. My only tiny issue is that the ribs were a little too fatty, but they were still amazing. The chicken was perfect, the beans, grilled corn were wonderful, and the potatoe salad was excellent!!! I will definitely be ordering from here again!

The food here is always AMAZING! The Brisket is seasoned & always tender, the sausage is always spicy! The homemade sauce is the Bomb!
