Wow. I grew up with Steak n' Shake and have always liked them for nostalgic reasons (even as things changed over the years) but I have to say this is the first I have ordered in a while and there have been a few changes- for te very best! The onion rings now are real thick onion rings in a crispy batter...the chili on the chili fries tastes like real chili (and not watery chili)....and the butter double steakburger tasted like a ground sirloin smashed burger with the crispy edges to the patty with the juicy center. Even the pickles are not just the round pickle chip but a bright crispy long ways sandwich pickle cut. It all took me back to everything I always loved with Steak n' Shake. It was so tasty and incredibly satisfying highly recommend them if yiuhave tried them recently!! .

Nothing to complain about. Food is cheaper than most burger outlets and tastes better. Ordered the Bacon 'n Cheese Double Steakburger Combo ; plus mustard, ketchup, mayo, with large cheese fries, a bowl of Chili, Large Sugar-free Coke, and everything was delivered as I requested. They allow you to customize your items to your choosing (unlike Taco Bell family packs (not allowing the removal of lettuce from them, and hungry Howie's buffalo chicken pizza, not allowing the removal of red onions). Arby's employees can't get an order right to save their lives (always missing items from my orders). Steak and Shake goes above and beyond with their service and it is noticed and appreciated.

This Original Double Steakburger with Cheese
Is absolutely delicious every time I order them!!
The double steak burger with cheese gets five stars and would give it 10 stars if I could! Trust me that you can't go wrong with this CHOICE at Steak 'n Shake!!
