Perfectly cooked and seasoned Combination Skewer Bento B. Everything was hot well cooked and delicious. If you have texture issues, the chicken skin might not be for you, but I thought it was perfect and smoky. The mushrooms were wonderful. They stood up to the meat items and I would order all of it again.

We find the Yakitori Don Bento & Kalbi Don Bento to be delicious & great values, but this time we tried the Gyusuji Don Bento and Nagoya Style Calamari and both were delicious. Gyusuji was tender and tasted like French beef bourguignon. The calamari has a delicious tasty sauce. Sumiya is always reliably tasty and authentic. We order from them often any time we want delicious yakitori.

The Hatsu were perfectly cooked and tender, and a good amount on just two skewers, and the Sunagimo with garlic are a must have every time I order, perfectly cooked and still hot when arriving.

First time trying this place, the food tasted good but the meat portions are the smallest I've had.  I had the short rib skewers and chicken wing skewers.  The rice and edamame portions were a good size, the same as similar restaurants.

The Chicken Katsu Don Bento I got was overdone until it was basically burnt. Same with the Tonkatsu I got as the side. The Teriyaki Chicken Don Bento was fine since it's meant to get some of the charcoal essence and taste, but not the fried food.
