This place never disappoints. Katsu-ya Bento had a great simple variety and was. a great value. Popcorn Shrimp with Spicy Tuna Roll was delicious. we arrived late to pick up our order (totally on us) and even then the food was still great quality and we enjoyed our meal. It was my first time trying Miso Marinated Black Cod, which I wish I hadn't because I usually make it at home and now I'll have to start coming here for it. BSC was delicious and the Blue Crab Hand Roll was very mild and tasty. Portions are fair and everything was fresh! Thank you!

The Katsu-ya Bento is an INCREDIBLE deal with all my Katsu-ya favorites: Crispy Rice w/ Spicy Tuna, Albacore with Crispy Onions, yellowtail jalapeño, salmon avocado sashimi, and a spicy tuna handroll (typically baked crab but I changed it to tuna) ready-to-eat for 1 person with all sauces included to add to your liking. Will 1000% be ordering again!

For the first time I have to leave negative rating to my favorite sushi place, of course we always go to Encino locations which is the best.
This time by mistake I ordered from topanga location, restless, all the food was very cold
For example popcorn shrimp over a spicy tuna roll. It was not assemble. They put everything in tiny container for us to put them all together. Didn’t like that. Shrimp tempura with a mixed vegetable. There was only one shrimp in there. The rest was vegetable and only few. However, overall, very disappointing.

No chop sticksno wasabi no ginger provided. food was bland. the crab roll was so tiny size of a rollof nickels. no flavor. albackrest w frispy onion was bland and onions were burn.
