"Sushi dinner" from other restaurants usually containe a few cheap pieces of sushi along with others. However, Sushi Makoto's sushi dinner only had good value sushi. All ingredients are very fresh. Excellent quality for the price. This is going to be my go-to sushi place in JC.

We were excited to try this new addition to Jersey City but were left disappointed and hungry. The edamame appetizer was perfectly seasoned and my kids loved the tempura appetizer too But things went down hill quickly. The salmon avocado roll was acceptable but the Boston and Godzilla special rolls were TINY. 5 thinly sliced pieces per roll. I grabbed a piece of nori from the pantry just to eyeball the size and there was definitely some shrinkflation happening at Sushi Makoto.

These two cost me over 20 bucks. 10 shrimps in total. Don't expect to get full if you order their food.

Fantastic new sushi place in the heights. Can't go wrong with any of their sushi options, and their Yaki Udon is fantastic! New go-to place in the heights

udon noodles with beef was a small portion for the price. Beef was not flavorful.wound not order again.Yaki Udon not worth it
