Szechuan Spice is my go to Chinese restaurant in Pittsburgh. The food is always high quality, with actually authentic Chinese options versus the normal Chinese-American food at other restaurants. The portions are always filling, and the ingredients are generally top quality to justify the high price. My favorite dishes include the Imperial Beef, which is a mildly spicy beef and broccoli dish with soft velveted beef, and the Xinjiang cumin beef which is a dry stir fry beef dish with intense cumin and Szechuan pepper flavor. The delivery drivers (they use their own) have always been excellent as well.

 What did the crispy roasted duck which was not crispy at all.
It didn't come with sauce or anything to go along with a duck. Had to buy a $2.25 baby container of hoisin sauce that couldn't even be shared amongst the portion of duck. The portion was very small for the price point that was charged. The sesame balls were awful. Strange had peanuts in it not what I'm used to.  Glad to hear other people had great experiences, but will not be ordering from here again I do not recommend.

The shrimp fried rice was pretty solid. I enjoyed it overall. They gave a generous amount of shrimp, which I really appreciated. The flavor wasn’t anything too special for me, but overall it was a decent meal and a good portion.

Too oily and no flavor. Way too many chili flakes and the rice tasted like plastic. Watery sauce for the chicken Sichuan 四川.
