Tangerine, first founded in 2011 as the younger sister restaurant of Arugula Restaurant by Chef Alec Schuler, has long been a contender for Boulder's greatest breakfast and brunch restaurant. The seco…
This is my second rave about Tangerine. Even when I haven't loved what I've ordered, it was always well made and based on personal preference. That has only happened once, in 7 years. I will reiterate my advice: If you are near an oven and have tinfoil or a cardboard plate, pop everything in at 375° or more. This is for ALL FOOD DELIVERY, because crispy bacon, toast, waffles, pancakes, even hash browns, get soggy in to-go containers. It's unavoidable. Other reasons I love Tangerine - FRESH squeezed OJ, coffee bevies are delish, and fruit is consistently ripe but not turned, and the maple syrup is 100%. They are also smart with their packaging. Packaging to us civilians may seem like a common sense puzzler - but it's expensive, especially at the rate of delivery these days. Tangerine definitely splurges for quality environmentally-friendly products that work. FYI my avocado in the picture sat in the sun for 2 hours before I was able to retrieve it...

I am shocked by the negative reviews. I order breakfast almost daily as my sink is being repaired. So I've tried them all, and Tangerine is BY FAR the best. The food is consistent and has yet to disappoint, and the sides are amazing (syrups, coulies, berries, ketchups+). One recommendation for all food delivery - because it's impossible to present delivered food the way it is meant to be: Heat it up in the OVEN at 375° for two or minutes! (And order sauces or extras OTS)

Never get my bacon. Ive tried three times. Potatoes came cold and mush despite the driver being so fast. Way too expensive for mush and half an order. No toppings on the side so we paid for high end pancakes and waffles, and 3 eggs over easy with eggs, potatoes and bacon. We got three dry pancakes, half a waffle, three v runny eggs and mush potatoes. For 70 bucks.

Couldn't eat what was received. Warning if you're allergic to mushrooms... while not listed in description for veggie hash on Door Dash, they put a bunch in there. Corned beef hash was beyond overcooked. It was nearly burnt, fatty, and was saltier than the English language has words to describe. The eggs were cooked perfectly, but it's not worth throwing away that much food and money for 2 eggs.

the turkey/brie Benedict was great. the veggie benedict seemed thrown together with two tiny slices of avocado sitting off to the side & the English muffin had a tiny bit of dressing on the very edge of the muffin.. if this was the first time I'd ordered from Tangerine, it would be the last. luckily, I've always had great food, beautifully presented with the exception of this last time.
