Extremely disappointed to see that my Chile Relleno Burrito with chicken, and no rice, which cost $22, turned out to be the tiniest burrito I've ever gotten at a taqueria. I order burritos without rice from other places all the time. Some are "slightly" smaller, but most are generally the same size. This one, however, was comparable to a Taco Bell burrito, or a baby burrito that some taquerias offer. It was incredibly small. I finished it in less than 3 minutes, then had to look for something else to eat.
I used to be a semi-regular customer before COVID. Once they reopened after the pandemic, I found their serving system to be so awkward, fearful, and unfriendly that I decided not to return until they resumed normal operations. We'd returned once since then, and my family all agreed that portions were on the smaller side. I suppose this is their way of dealing with the rising cost of running a business.
As they are a locally-owned business that is in my neighborhood, I really wanted to give them another chance, and I feel like I just got ripped off. The food quality was excellent, but there wasn't enough of it to justify charging such a high price.

The mole enchilada is pretty good, but definitely on the sweet side, like bbq sauce. The verde enchilada was REALLY sweet, even more than the mole. No spice, just sugary sweet. Someone should have caught that mistake.

Carnitas were may be the worst I've ever had served on a nice salad but 3/4 of the plate loaded.  down with beans with a nice arrangement of avocado slices.And not a tortilla to be found. Do you not eat Carnitas tortillas anymore?
Regret that I could not eat it because it cost me 25 bucks so I had to order some PHO from a very good Vietnamese restaurant through DoorDash. I'm in the hospital and the food is like the Carnitas and that's why I choose to Have meals meals Brought in trying to regain the 30 pounds I lost.
