They did arrive warm but they're too oily and I prefer cookies that are less blonde ~ these definitely need a longer bake time. The sweetness level is good for the chocolate chip pecan but the lemon would be better with caster sugar sprinkled on top rather than powdered sugar, and I can't quite put my finger on it, but it's just not a pure lemony taste, I can taste the lemon extract. Adding fresh lemon zest to the batter would make it taste more authentically lemony. As for the price, $21.50 for 1 Dozen Cookies was a good deal but I would not pay full price for the reasons I've shared above. The packaging is pretty but a bit extravagant and IMO accounts in part for the price the baker charges.

I received 1 dozen chocolate chip cookies and they were fire. I mean better that Subway!
