okay first of all, the mapo tofu is stellar bro it is so good and extremly filling. same thing with the soup dumplings .. exceptional bro. they're consistent with taste and always package well, ive never had any spills and ive ordered from here unironically double digit times. the amount and quality of the food makes it worth every penny, always fresh. do yourself a favor and order from here. actually amazing. tom, whoever you are, you are amazing.

We come to Philly once a year and this is our SPOT! Dine in take out either choice will be delicious! The insulated bags make take out to die for even when we can't sit down to enjoy there. All of the dumps are hot and fresh- my go to order is Steamed Pork Soup Dumpling(6)Steamed Pork & Chives Dumpling(8)Roast Pork Bun(3) and no order is complete with out the Piggy Bun(3)S 10/10 recommend with all of the choices in the city Tom's DimSum does not miss! Just bland, wanted dim sum and the dumplings I ordered had the tiniest amount of meat, mostly all dough, and TEN dollars for 5 dumplings. Not worth it at alllll, $2 a dumpling for no meat is crazy. Food was not flavorful and exprremley overpriced. Went here because dim sum house was closed and just very disappointed. Will not be ordering again. The roast buns also were mostly dough.

Hk Shanghai Shumai (4）was amazing. Cold Cucumber Salad was nice and garlicky, Shanghai Stir Fried Noodle were saucey with lots of veggies and meat. And obviously the Steamed Pork Soup Dumplings (6) were incredible. I wish it came with vinegar and chili oil, but dumpling sauce was included.

Tom's is one of my favorite restaurants. I've eaten here more times than I can count and I've never been disappointed. Got the crab rangoons for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised to have real crab in there. Veg buns and shrimp dumplings are always good. Also my fav scallion pancake in the city.
