Lambert's Downtown Barbecue sits on the corner of 2nd and Guadalupe in a historic 1873 Victorian building, once home to the J.P. Schneider general store. We serve modern Texas classics—expertly smoked barbecue, grilled prime steaks, and homestyle sides—daily for lunch and dinner.
The two-story dining room features an open kitchen, two bars (with one of the best whiskey selections in town), and a patio surrounding our Mill Scale smoker. The vibe is unmistakably Austin: easygoing but spirited, with live music upstairs often.
