I ordered here for the first time and I will be ordering again. The food was very tasty without being salty. I had turkey wings with collard greens and candied yams. The wings were not over cooked or dry, in fact they poured a lot of gravy on top. The greens were delicious and the yams were cut and cooked perfectly. The gentleman that serviced the front had a pleasant attitude and the place seemed clean, from what I could tell. Not much parking in the back but plenty of spaces in the street right out front.

Food is absolutely amazing and my favorite place when I want soul food. The food brings back nostalgic moments of home cooking. Great portions, full of flavor and presentation is always on point.

Awesome Whiting is always!! The Candied Yams and potato salad was on point! I love this restaurant. As a truck driver this is my weekly go to spot in Jersey. 👍🏾
