Wow! Ive eaten here 2 days in a row and havent been let down yet!! Yesterday I got the oxtails and they were wonderful. Today I was craving porkchops but was concerned that there would only be one. Well I can tell you that the one porkchop is huge. Definitely enough to fill me up. Fried to perfection, tastes delicious and the side (mac in cheese and greenbeans) are also exceptional. Glad I ended up ordering from this resturant again.

The food was decent outside of our greens being lukewarm. We ordered Southern Fried Pork Chop Dinner, Braised Oxtails, Crispy Fried Chicken Dinner, and Smothered Turkey Necks. My oxtails had way too much fat & the gravy over the rice was oily/thin. The restaurant is 12 minutes from my home but due to the store itself, our order of 5 plates were delivered 1.5 hours later though it was closing time right before the order was made. They ran out of yams and subbed so it doesnt seem like anything was made fresh, which isn't a problem but doesnt explain the long delivery time. I've Dashed there as well and have the seen the huge space being used with a lack of timely organization w/ who works there. Maybe we'll try once more but the food was too expensive for the slowness.

The Meatloaf is the best in the city and the amount of food you get... always count on having left overs!! Food is always hot and fresh when you get!! The Crispy Fried Chicken Basket is always crispy with an excellent flavor. In my opinion this place is definitely in the top 3 soul food places in Houston.

I couldn't wait for this Meatloaf dinner so delicious and plentiful. I added some Smothered Cabbage was so tender. The Flavored Lemonade I guzzled it down delicious. Finally the Peach Cobbler y'all need to market that. Kudos to the staff

Man HOLD TF UP! This the best food I ever had. This taste like my auntie food from Mississippi!!! I done ordered this Meatloaf 4 times. This portions are big and really fresh and tasteful! Keep doing ur thang Miss. I salute a real one when I see one. She definitely put her foot in it! lol
