Hoping to find a great place to order fried fish and good sides for my birthday dinner - and my hope was met!! Truck's Chickn n' Fish was terrific. We got Fried Catfish and Shrimp, and Fried Whiting + Collards, Fried Okra, Beans and Rice and Mac and Cheese - and everything was perfection!! The fried items were perfectly done, light, flavorful, well-seasoned and not greasy - and the collards were fantastic! (I'm so used to collards being overly 'doctored' - people but sugar/vinegar/worchstershire sauce etc. etc. in collards, instead of just letting them stand on their own and be their delicious selves! (You can add vinegar/hot sauce and whatever else you want at the table - I like greens just cooked and seasoned simply - like my Mama did it!) - The owner was also very nice and helpful on the phone. A+++ "No Notes" - and I"ve heard great things about the chicken - we'll try that next!

Ordered a late lunch today.
Perfectly cooked 2-pc White Meat Chicken Dinner . Honestly wish I had ordered more than I did, not because the portion was too small, but because the chicken was so damn good.
Collard Greens on point as always. They taste like the greens my foster mother cooked every Sunday.
Cornbread so good it's almost a dessert.
Lg JB Mac & Cheese was meant to be a snack later before dinner, but was so good I ate it and had to go take a nap.
Love these guys, they always satisfy my craving for Soul Food.

If you're wanting to be put into that relaxing soul food coma we all know and love....this is the spot!
I ordered the catfish & chicken with 2 extra pieces of catfish. Great deal at the price and the food was exceptional. The chicken had great flavor and was cooked perfect. The catfish was absolutely incredible, some of the best I've ever had. The fries are seasoned great and crispy. The okra is just like how momma made...it brought me back. The cornbread was the absolute best I've ever had anywhere. The tea was also perfect.
