The Blue Line Pizza itself was Fabulous! One of the Best Italian Combo to date - the issue I have is with DoorDash and the Blue Line Menu in ordering the Pizza size- I ordered a "Grande" Italian Combo and I had thought I was ordering a Large Pizza - nope I was told by Blue Line that the DoorDash "Grande" is actually a small !! So not cool ! I paid $41 for a small Pizza ? Ugh ! Why is the definition not correct ?! Loved the Crispy Gluten free crust Blue Line serves !! Yummy- just disappointed with the Pizza size when ordering it -

I ordered a large pizza and was sent a small pizza. This is the second time in a row that this happened. So I was charged a price difference of $10 each time.
The restaurant NEVER ANSWERS the phone. I tried calling before submitting the order tomake sure they would get the order correct but theydid not answer.
The pizza is amazing when they get it right.

I couldn’t remember why I always go to Patxi’s instead of Blue Line, which has better preset options for me and is less expensive, so I ordered a deep dish and a thin crust pizza from Blue Line. The deep dish is not even as deep as a Pizza Hut pan pizza and the thin crust is not very thin. The Aphrodite and Greek pizzas seem exactly the same except one has whole cloves of garlic. Both are surprisingly low in flavor given the toppings. The cheese is unusually rubbery and bland. Back to Patxi’s for the next few years!

Delicious! Perfect crust and toppings. Portions were generous. The 1/2 and 1/2 was exactly that so everyone was happy. Reliable San Carlos restaurant with the best pizza around. They are fast too.

As a true Chicagoan, it's very tough to find authentic Chicago deep-dish stuffed (cheese in the middle, sauce & ingredients on top) pizza. Blue Line pizza is one of the better choices around. The ingredients are fresh and delicious, the cornbread crust is yummy (even though I still prefer a flakier Giordanos-style crust), the sauce is zesty, and although the pizza is not as thick and cheesy as real Chicago deep dish, Blue Line is really satisfying and I keep coming back for my fix :) the "garlic bread" is also a favorite in our house!
