Vic's Italian Restaurant & Pizzeria (Blake St) (Dinner) 4.6.19
My fiancé and I always go to Vic's and their food is always on point. You can never go wrong with the chicken parm but the linguine pescatora is always a fab choice and the vitello positano. Pizza is probably the best pizza in Raleigh and that's hard to find in the south.

Huge disappointment I ordered Fettuccine del Re
Porcini mushrooms, peas, and chicken.
I received less than 20 peas and eight thin slices of porcini mushrooms. The alfredo sauce was bland
The pasta dishes offered by Domino Pizza are so much better and cheaper.
Cost: $20.00 plus dash charge. Stay away from Vics!

The Linguini alla Romana didn't have a strong white wine sauce flavor, it was very oily, but the textures were good. Calzone was perfect size and full of cheese. Mozzarella Caprese was smaller than expected for being almost $15 - three slices of tomato with cheese seems high and also less to share with a dinner for two (we still got four meals out of everything). Also wish the menu offered sides of sauce but am looking forward to trying other dishes.

The Calazones are so big and sooo good. I usually have leftovers. They also have the best Caesar salad I've ever had!

The Eggplant Parmesan arrived on time, was a good portion, and was well packaged. It was a bit salty for my taste, so I 'll probably opt for something else next time. Also, it might be helpful to know that there was one paper plate included (I'm assuming for sharing), but no plasticware, napkins, or condiments (for anyone who likes Parmesan cheese or chili pepper).
