Let me start by saying I rarely leave reviews. My husband has been in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. We are also a good 2 hours from home. My food choices are here in the hospital or door dash.
I had been ordering from a pizza joint in mount pleasant that I've eaten at on previous visits for doctors appointments and such, seems safe to eat at a place you've been to but I was ordered out and decided to try some new places the past few times. Ehh all the other places were less than mediocre and frankly a waste of money BUT boy did I luck up when I ordered here!!! I wasn't able to eat as soon as I received my order, so it sat for a good hour before sitting down to eat. I ordered the crispy fried oysters and the tavern burger......both of which you'd think would just be a soggy mess if not eaten right away. My oysters were the crispiest I've had anywhere in years! My burger was just delicious and the bun still crispy and mmm mmm buttery!
I was skeptical about the tavern burger when ordering. I thought....."ehhh, I don't know about that relish stuff on a burger." I had planned on asking for the relish to be put on the side but now I wish I would have asked for extra! Everything was absolutely delicious!
I will be ordering from here again! And again!
The only thing I do recommend is them allowing extra special requests where you can type in something if it's not on the menu. For instance, I'm a southern girl, ranch isn't a condiment, it's a neccesity on my fries but I was not able to request this. I did send a message to the dasher on her arrival to the restaurant but she did not do this (even though she read the message 6 mins before I received a message stating she was on the way).

Terrible!! The churros arrived soggy, cold, very small and tasteless. Worst "churros" I've ever eaten and extremely overpriced considering what it is. The Brussels sprouts were bitter, burned, and lackluster. Overpriced and underwhelming.

So disappointing. We ordered the chicken pot pie, the chicken sandwich, and the smoked cabbage. I will start by saying that the outside of the smoked cabbage was charred, and other than that it was basically raw cabbage. And I mean raw and chewy. I couldn’t chew it enough to actually swallow it so I threw it out. The chicken sandwich is nothing at all like the picture and for a standard chicken sandwich we could’ve pretty much gone anywhere else and not paid $100 for this meal. The chicken pot pie was a cup of chicken and vegetable soup with what looked like a croissant on the side. Will not be ordering from here again. They should really consider their presentation when processing food orders for deliveries.

For a 20 dollar bowl of soup I don't expect most of the soup to spill out of the to go box before it gets to me (this meal cost $100). This type of to go container was not made for soup. I cannot believe soup was put in this container. This was so messy and such a headache. I tasted a few bites of the soup because I was starving and it tasted like maybe there was too much sherry and hardly any meat. I love she-crab soup, but not this soup. Bad experience all together.

They do things delicious here - burger was juicy and the shrimp and SHRIMP & GRITS was bursting with flavor.
