I have been looking for good soulfood while here in Stl and this did not dissapoint. Everything was excellent. I will be ordering again.Fish was fired really well. Chicken wings are on the small side but still good. Mac and cheese is very cheesy and flavorful!!!! Highly recommend you to try a lil bit of everything

Everything in the Fish & Chicken Combo was over cooked and dry. The lil drizzled sweet sauce is too sweet and not savory. They use real chicken and real catfish. No hormone crap! Thank goodness! So happy about that! Everyone has a bad shift - I will try again one day but not anytime soon. 3/10
The Collard Greens w/Smoked Turkey did not have any turkey which was disappointing. Juicy, fresh and not over cooked. Nicely flavored, add a pinch of salted seasoning & pepper to taste. Generous portion. We would order again (if turkey meat is in it). 8/10
The macaroni and Mac and Cheese was not for me, but I know people who would LOVE this. Too rich, thick and gooey - I prefer a creamy, cheesy sauce or baked. It could use some seasoning, smaller noodles and different cheese. Ours tasted like pure globs of American cheese. Great portion. Not for me but def for my fam and friends. 5/10
Sweet Potatoes have an amazing taste. I did not prefer the texture as the edges of each piece was dry. Over cooked or old maybe - maybe not sitting in broth? Each bite was chewy and not soft. I'm going to turn these into mashed. Another generous portion. 7/10
Overall, YES I would recommend this establishment. It is obvious that they prepare recipes and food with love. They even threw in cornbread!
Please Order from here & eat here especially if you want a taste of home cooked soul food.

Although I was missing an order of Collard Greens w/Smoked Turkey everything was absolutely delicious. The Mac and Mac and Cheese is very cheesy. The Fish & Chicken Combo is very flavorful and the portions are ok for the price point. I would order again. I have eaten here on many occasions before.

Ok, presentation is everything and this is exceptional. The Sweet Potatoes were perfectly seasoned, and the portioned are reasonable. The Creamy, Mac and Cheese is great. This made my day. It arrived fresh, and ready to eat. Shout out to this establishment, the silverware was a subtle yet noticeable touch. Thumbs up

The Baked Chicken Dark w/1 Side is tiny! Ive eaten here many times and this is unusually small. Also the chicken is either overcooked or old meat. Theres usually gravy on the dressing but none was on either of mines. The bourbon Chicken Wings were fire! Thats all I should have ordered. The sauce is really good and the wings were fresh! However the Chicken Wings are listed as an entree but you must order sides separately? The Collard Greens w/Smoked Turkey were ok.
The Baked Chicken White w/1 Side wing is tiny breast was ok in size but very dry. Ordered a soul sunrise drink but it was available.
