I have ordered from Hokkaido from day one of their opening. Fang the owner is wonderful and sweet and always serves great food. From the fried or steamed gyoza, to the shrimp and vegie tempura and fried rice, it is all so good! The restaurant is casual and comfortable. Booth and tables with low lighting. Staff is friendly and helpful. Location is just of I10 and Chaffee exit and next to three or four hotels for family staying in town. It is a great place to have lunch with Mom and stay in contact with adult grown children. Make memories and keep traditions alive by eating at Hokkaido. We Love Hokkaido so much. It is one of my family's favorite restaurants. Everything is always made fresh and the portions are sizeable and delicious.
Today we ordered our go-to Chicken Fried Rice which is a consistent winner. We also had an order of Vegetable Noodles which were so, so amazing. The sauce on the noodles was so tasty and it was full of vegetables - definitely ordering this again!
Ordered the Fried Gyoza and Vegetable Egg Rolls for appetizers, both were so delicious and the dipping sauces were a hit.
Hokkaido never lets us down when we dine-in or use DD. Quality, portions, and service is always excellent. Definitely recommend this wonderful restaurant to others.

Pork Katsu Udon Soup is so good the pork is so tender and flavorful the udon soup is very comforting and I ALWAYS enjoy their sashimi very high quality coming from someone that has been indulging in sushi/sashimi for years this store is awesome!!Smoked SalmonYellowtailWhite Tuna

The best Japanese food I've eaten. Hokkaido honestly knows how to bring the flavor. Our order is typically the same because we enjoy each individual dish so much:
Chicken Fried RiceVegetable Noodle (lo mein noodles are underneath)
Vegetable Egg RollFried GyozaTuxedo Bombe
Everything here is so delicious. I did attach pictures this time so everyone can see how amazing the food looks and is packaged nicely. I did note above that on the Vegetable Noodles, the lo mein is underneath all those delicious veggies (which are cooked on the hibachi) - you can't see them, but I promise they are there and they are delicious.
Our order arrived fresh and still piping hot and there was enough food we had leftovers.
You definitely get your money's worth at Hokkaido. I recommend them highly.

Vegetable Noodle (Lo Mein) chock full of veggies in a delicious broth
Fried Gyoza - always a favorite
Vegetable Egg Roll - the best I've ever eaten!
Hokkaido is one of our very favorite places to eat in and order from. They are always consistently delicious, portions are sizeable, and the food is cooked fresh to order.
If you haven't tried this gem of a place, I highly recommend them. Their sushi is great also! Give them a try.
