• 29/09/24The best pizzeria on the East End, with 50 years experience. If you're really looking for a treat, order the sausage, pepper and onion hero, on thin crust hero bread, no tomato sauce and request the sausages to be whole, not sliced or cut up, like one would get at the street fairs. Copy and paste the above, and you'll get a better sausage hero than you'd find at San Gennaro in Little Italy.

• 25/10/24The meatball hero was outstanding, the meatballs truly taste homemade. The Caesar salad was fresh and delicious.
I had ordered a similar meal the weekend before with a pizza. The pizza was gone in minutes.
By accident my salad was left at store. When I called the woman I spoke to offered to replace it at a later date or fix it on my next DoorDash delivery.
When the food you're purchasing, and the customer service is so wonderful it's easy to be a loyal customer.

• 16/08/26fettuccine alfredo was not fettuccine Alfredo. it was one stuck together blob of spaghetti, and if there was any sauce, It also was stuck to the bottom of the pan. Pasta Fagioli Soup was pink water with overcooked pasta and beans.

I see a lot of good reviews on here, but my experience was very disappointing. We ordered one veggie pizza, (8 normal slices), and it had... no vegetables on it. I counted on average, maybe 2 mushrooms, 3 small diced peppers, and a couple slices of cooked onions.(some pieces less). There was barely any sauce, the cheese had hardened, and it was cold by the time we received it. The dasher did one stop previous to Caruso's, but it was the mainly the quality of the pizza in general that was surprising. On the DoorDash menu, there was no description of what ingredients were included on pizza, and I was very saddened by the product that we received. If I pay $50 for a Normal-sized pizza, I would hope it would be satisfying and worth the cost. We usually order from Rocco's in riverhead, And that vegetable pizza is incredible, loaded with fresh vegetables, has reasonably priced add-ons, and is well worth the $30-35 they charge. Plus, you can get a huge salad and wings with it, and it's still less than Caruso's single pizza. I don't know who is responsible for this experience, but we would have been much better off getting a frozen pizza at the supermarket for $7. I never complain on here, but I feel taken advantage of financially, and hope this doesn't happen to other folks who just want a decent pizza every once in a while. Best of luck to everyone, will never order from Caruso's again.

• 05/12/25We are new to Mattituck and we've finally found a place that has awesome Fettuccine Alfredo with Grilled Chicken Pasta! Calamari was tender, pizza is great, lentil soup also amazing! Super impressed.
