📍 SF's Newest family owned Mediterranean Gem! Halal food truck serving up vibrant dishes on the go. A permanent vendor at Spark Social SF, perfect for lunch or a quick bite.
For a place that focuses on corporate catering and a mobile food truck, Atlas is pretty solid. In particular, the Chicken Shawarma Bowl is very tasty. The chicken is sliced a bit thick (as you can see in the menu pictures)—maybe that's what makes Sudanese shawarma different from Levantine? I don't know. But I do know that it's well cooked without being dried out. And it's nicely seasoned and marinated, and the garlic sauce and hot sauce complement it; I'd be happy to get this in Jordan or Manhattan. It's also an overflowing bowl, and no skimping on the chicken; I think I put more away for leftovers than I ate for dinner. No excitingly unusual sides, but the rice is good, the pita is fresh and warm (and a whole pita), nothing to complain about anywhere. And all for a decent-for-SF price. I'll definitely order from these guys again.

The Chicken Shawarma Bowl is a very good portion, lots of chicken, for a pretty good price. The shawarma, rice, and pickles are all good, although it could use more garlic sauce and more hot sauce.
The extra pita is a whole pita (cut into quarters), and warmed up, which is a lot nicer than some other places that charge 3x as much for a single quarter of cold, stale bread.
All in all, I'll probably order from these guys again.

I lived in Morocco several years and I am glad I found in SF this Moroccan fusion with Beef/Lamb Shawarma Wrap, moroccan lentils and zaalouk! As delicious as I was in Morocco. Fresh Cut Fries are handmade :)!
