Finally made it to Hawkins House of Burgers and ordered the Turkey Burger — no cheese, grilled onions, mushrooms, jalapeño, relish, and 1000 Island. Honestly it was worth it. Thick, juicy, and packed with flavor. This isn't your average fast food turkey burger, this thing actually has some substance to it.
That said, be ready to wait. I was there 30 minutes before my order was ready. It's a walk-up window only — no indoor seating, order at the counter and wait. Old school LA burger stand vibes all the way.
Location is what it is. It's in a rough part of town on a dead end street. Daytime visit felt fine, staff is cool, people in line are just there for the food. I wouldn't make the trip after dark personally — just being real. Street parking only out front, nothing fancy.
Is the wait worth it? The burger is legit and the price is fair at $11.99. If you're a burger purist who appreciates a real handmade patty, yeah it's worth the trip. Just go during the day, have patience, and come hun

this is my first time eating Hawkins burger and I gotta say it's a banger of a spot 10/10 the fries are wedges the onion rings are cooked to perfection sweet and savory nothing but flavor and the star of the show the burgers....hoo my gawd seasoned amazingly nothing but flavor!!! Will highly recommend again oh and kool aid hits the spot not too sugary just nothing but refreshing .

The absolutely best burger I have ever eaten. The meat is seasoned, ingredients are fresh, bun is fresh, condiments and veggies are just perfect! The onion rings are just delicious. Flavorful, crispy and plentiful. I have ordered from them every day this week and trying to reorder now!!

I ordered a double chili cheese burger thinking the burger patty would be thin (like most burgers are) but this thing was humongous-built for two! Not to mention hot and delicious! Hawkins is my new burger spot! Also, kudos for the delivery bag being sealed so no worries there, either.

The Turkey burger was fresh, extremely flavorful & good portion. It was excellent. And all the condiments were fresh. The ground Turkey tacos were exceptional. Well seasoned & full of ingredients. I've ordered here several times and I'll be ordering from here again.
