2lbs is basically noodles, you may get 1 piece of each ingredient you pick... for $35. The taste is fine, you could get the sauce from Asian grocery.

First time ordering from Tang Bar. The Build Your Build Your Own Malatang / 自选麻辣烫 was good in that it included the requested items. Ordered Just a Kick (1 spice) for all 4 soups and it was spicier than expected. No "mala" numbing. Disappointed in both Seafood Lover【Malatang】| 海鲜军团【麻辣烫】 and Meat Lover【Malatang】| 无肉不欢【麻辣烫】 . Unfortunately, the Seafood soup only had 1 or 2 pieces of napa cabbage. It did not include lotus root, bean curd stick, wood ear, enoki, seafood mushrooms, wide noodles or ramen. From the description, I would have thought that these would be included. Similarly, Meat Lover did not have enoki, sweet potato starch, lotus root, or ramen.

Missing beef balls and mushrooms in the order. Very unsatisfied. One of the plates was filled with 70% of ramen. Did not worth the money at all.

I ordered two pounds of food, and half of it was noodles. The meat was tiny pieces, and the food quality was significantly lower than what I’d expect from a store-bought meal.
